While Allan Williams’ all-electric Honda Motocompo XL concept won’t be entering production, the concept makes us extremely optimistic about the future of lightweight two-wheelers. Williams has also replaced the Trunk Bike’s 2.5-hp 49cc single with an electric powertrain, which resides inside the frame under the riding position. The new “Motocompo XL” bike concept provides a full-size, race-ready iteration of the iconic classic that still retains the key features of the original, albeit with sleeker, more modern design language.
